Educator of the Year: Lawrence Hoffman, CFE, CPA

The ACFE Educator of the Year Award is presented to an educator who has made an outstanding contribution in the development of anti-fraud education.

Lawrence Hoffmann is an assistant professor of Accounting and Forensic Accounting at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He has put his university on the cutting-edge in higher education programs by offering undergraduate and graduate programs in forensic accounting and fraud examination.

For his work encouraging students to join the anti-fraud profession through education and mentoring, the ACFE is excited to present the Educator of the Year Award to Lawrence Hoffman.
