Every year the ACFE Educator of the Year Award is presented to an educator who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of anti-fraud education.

Dr. David Glodstein is an associate professor in the department of accounting, taxation and business law at the State University of New York College at Old Westbury. At SUNY Old Westbury, Dr. Glodstein began the Justice for Fraud Victims Project, which offers support to fraud victims in Long Island in their pursuit of restitution while also allowing SUNY Old Westbury students to develop real-world skills and experience.

Dr. Glodstein has authored and presented numerous scholarly articles. He has also assisted his students in obtaining scholarships, like the ACFE’s Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship. One of his former students said, “Dr. Glodstein was a key proponent of my desire to delve deeply into the theories and components of fraud examination, deterrence and detection.”

Congratulations Dr. David Glodstein on earning the Educator of the Year Award for his work encouraging his students to join the anti-fraud profession through real-life experience, education and mentoring
